Hooked Up Live Baits is a unique floating bait barge located in St. Petersburg, Florida, positioned right outside of O'Neill's Marina and the Maximo Boat Ramp near the Skyway Bridge. This convenient on-the-water setup allows boaters, recreational anglers, and charter captains to pull their vessels directly up to the barge to stock up before heading out to fish. Known for its excellent customer service, the shop serves as a vital resource for the local boating and fishing community, offering a seamless way to grab bait without ever leaving the water. The shop specializes in high-quality live marine bait, primarily focusing on white bait (pilchards and greenbacks), which is available by the dozen or by the scoop. In addition to white bait, they regularly stock a variety of seasonal and targeted live options, including pinfish, blue runners, pass crabs, ladyfish, and premium tarpon or permit crabs. For anglers who prefer dead bait, they also supply convenient bags of frozen options alongside their live-well delivery services for local charters.
